Le Chalet du Secret

The Secret, one of the most deeply felt aspects of Valle d’Aosta’s culture, is the gift of healing, of alleviating pain, as well as removing fear and calming the souls of both people and animals through the recitation of secret formulas (hence the name Secret). Every mountain village had, and  in part still has to this day, healers who possess this gift and use it to help the community.

We wanted to pay tribute to the most luxurious and exclusive lodge in the village by acknowledging this ancient craft that focuses on people’s serenity, designing the suite around our guests’ well-being.

This exclusive chalet was built using the most modern techniques in construction, energy-efficiency, and lighting, allowing guests to enjoy a stay dedicated to silence, mindfulness, and total relaxation.

All of the materials used to build this charming lodge were obtained from the recovery of materials from pre-existing buildings in the area, skilfully restored and paired with contemporary designer accessories.

The modern kitchen, designed specifically for the space, is equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, induction cooktop, microwave oven, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine, electric kettle, and all the necessary kitchen tools for preparing a variety of dishes.

The spacious private solarium, facing southwest and accessible directly from the chalet, offers an incredible view of the peaks of the Parc naturel du mont Avic. From this area guests can access the terraced gardens of the village.

The large bathroom, with window, is divided into two areas: the first with a sink, hairdryer, and hair straightener, through which one accesses the shower area, also free-standing, where the toilet and bidet are located.

The chalet is equipped with a Wi-Fi connection, free Netflix subscription, private parking for one car, laundry facilities, and a private storage area for sports equipment.

The price includes all utilities, an initial supply of firewood (during the winter months), sheets and towels, a welcome kit, tea and coffee (both ground coffee and an initial supply of coffee pods), kitchen essential (oil, vinegar, salt, sugar, etc.), and the final cleaning of the accommodation.
